How can I make a donation?
Anyone interested in supporting scholarships for North Dakota
students can make a donation. There are a number of options
available:
- Donate to the chapter in your hometown.
Check our map and if there
is a DFS chapter, you can make a donation to their annual fund or
start a special scholarship in memory of someone, in honor of a
retiring teacher, or to encourage students to pursue education in
specific fields such as nursing, auto mechanics or teaching.
- Donate through the state office to help start a chapter in your
hometown. You can encourage your hometown to start a chapter by
donating a ‘challenge grant’ for the community. Give us a call and
we can explain more about how to do this. You will receive great
satisfaction from knowing you had a part in starting this
organization.
- Donate through the state program to establish a regional or
statewide scholarship for a specific interest and we will publicize
the opportunity to all chapters. Students will send their
application to us and we will complete the awards process for you or
your organization. Our first success stories in this category are
the Cass County Electric Scholarship,
Verendrye
Electric, and
Dakota Valley Electric opportunities for every chapter in
their region. These donors establish a scholarship in their name to
support Dollars for Scholars applicants beyond one chapter. For
example, a business may reach every chapter in their service region
or across the state. Many options are available to meet donor needs.

gifts are perpetual.
